Elios used in the emergency repair of a collector

Lavanguardia report this Monday that Aigües de Barcelona, the water public services of Barcelona, part of Grupo Agbar and daughter company of Suez, has successfully used Flyability Elios in the emergency repair of a collector to assess the real impact of its breakage. The collector broke last week while a severe maritime storm hit the Catalan coast.

The team at Aigües de Barcelona engaged Elios to determine the real impact of the breakage by flying it directly in the collector up to the point of breakage where sewage was pouring into the sea. Elios was qualified "very useful" by the company to inspect the interior of the pipe affected by the storm last weekend and obtain reliable information on its state of conservation. Indeed, Elios is built to reach places that are difficult to access or require strict security measures.
